Anyone currently undergoing the horrors of adolescence will tell you that creating and establishing an identity is tough work. And that your parents can give you a solid foundation but they can’t do the heavy lifting for you. So we don’t create identities for our clients. Instead, we recognize the difficulties overcome and the victories won that give depth to every identity, and we give that character the shape and form and respect it deserves.

dialogue

Creativity is as much about the process as the product. We like to collaborate with others. We hate to compromise our values and our integrity. For us, design is a conversation, a dialogue that goes back and forth to produce a win/win solution for everyone involved.

learning

We are lifelong learners. We read constantly. We drink in the world around us as much as we can. We try to shake off the dust of everyday life every chance we get. Because knowledge is power, information should be free to all, and if you’re only treading water, you’re not going anywhere.

periphery

We like horizons. We like bringing them closer and finding new ones to set our sights on. We are generally in favor of forests, and we are big fans of trees. When we solve a design problem, we want to anticipate every angle, to unravel it from its center all the way out to its last edge. Because good design has great peripheral vision.

problem-solving

We enjoy puzzles and brainteasers. We have been known to unwind with the occasional Sudoku. Good design is nothing more than a particular puzzle solved particularly well.
